A. EN / ISO (C2TE) – Thin-bed Adhesive with Extended Open Time

• Initial Tensile Adhesion: 1.55–1.65 N/mm²

• After Water Immersion: 1.15–1.25 N/mm²

• After Heat Ageing: 1.45–1.55 N/mm²

• After Freeze–Thaw Cycles: 1.20–1.30 N/mm²

B. IS 15477:2019 (Type 3T) – Indian Standard

• 28-day Tensile Adhesion:

  • Dry: 1.50–1.60 N/mm²

Application Guidelines

• Surface Preparation: Clean surfaces thoroughly by removing oil, dust, laitance, and other contaminants using wire brushing, water-jets, or mopping

• Mixing:

  1. Add TileFixo Royal NT to measured potable water (24–27 %).

  2. Mix with a mechanical stirrer for 2–3 minutes for a lump-free, consistent mix.

  3. Let stand for 2 minutes, then remix before applying.

  4. Do not add extra water—this can reduce adhesion strength

• Application:

  • Apply with an appropriately notched trowel based on tile size.

  • Achieve a minimum bed thickness of 3 mm (range up to 12 mm accepted).

  • For vertical surfaces and natural stones like marble/granite, consider “back buttering” for better adhesion.

  • Use spacers to maintain uniform joints for later grouting

• Temperature Restrictions: Avoid application if ambient temperatures are below 5 °C or above 50 °C. At temperatures < 20 °C, allow additional curing time

Storage & Safety

• Shelf Life: Up to 12 months when stored in a cool, dry environment

• Safety Measures:

  • Non-toxic and non-flammable.

  • Wear gloves and goggles during mixing and application.

  • In case of skin or eye contact, rinse with clean water immediately.

  • In case of persistent irritation, seek medical attention
